We are honoured to share that the #GovPay project has been awarded the British Computer Association (BCS) 2025 National Software Festival (NBQSA)

GovPay, the national digital payment platform in Sri Lanka, is playing a major role in leading the government's digital transformation. As of today, the platform has exceeded Rs.350 million, connecting 160+ state institutions, and providing 2,400+ citizen services to accept online payments seamlessly.

This milestone is an achievement of collectiveism and many states that have partnered with us to make digital payments a reality for Digital Finance Ministry, Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), LankaPay, Central Bank of Sri Lanka, all licensed banks, financial technology institutions and all citizens A collective effort from the institutions.

Let us all build a digitally empowered Sri Lanka together!!

GovPay, Sri Lanka’s national digital payment platform, continues to play a pivotal role in driving the country's digital transformation. As of today, the platform has surpassed LKR 350 million in transaction revenue, connecting over 160 government organizations and enabling more than 2,400 citizen services to accept online payments seamlessly.

This milestone reflects the power of collaboration, a collective effort by the Ministry of Digital Economy, the Information and Communication Technology Agency (ICTA), LankaPay, the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, all licensed banks, fintechs, and numerous government institutions that have partnered with us to make digital payments a reality for all citizens.

Together, we are building a digitally empowered Sri Lanka. !!
