ශ්‍රී ලංකා විදේශ සේවා නියුක්ති කාර්යාංශයේ 40 වන සංවත්සරය සැමරීමේ උත්සව නොවැම්බර් 15 වන දින අරලියගහ මන්දිරයේදී අග්‍රාමාත්‍ය ආචාර්ය හරිනි අමරසූරියගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවැත්වුනා.
මෙම සැමරුම් උත්සවයට සමගාමීව, විදෙස්ගතව රැකියාවන්හි නියුතු ප්‍රජාව සඳහාම වෙන්වූ ජංගම යෙදුමක්, SLBFE හි ඩිජිටල්කරණ වැඩසටහන, වැඩිදියුණු කළ 24/7 ඇමතුම් මධ්‍යස්ථාන සේවාව, වැඩිදියුණු කළ රක්ෂණ සහ වන්දි යෝජනා ක්‍රම සහ පුළුල් කළ නිවාස ණය පහසුකම් ඇතුළු නව සේවා සහ සුභසාධන කටයුතු කිහිපයක්ද හඳුන්වාදීම සිදුකෙරුණා.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට ගරු විදේශ කටයුතු, විදේශ රැකියා සහ සංචාරක අමාත්‍ය විජිත හෙරත්, ගරු, විදේශ කටයුතු සහ විදේශ රැකියා නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය අරුන් හේමචන්ද්‍ර, ගරු සංචාරක නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය රුවන් චමින්ද රණසිංහ , ගරු ඩිජිටල් ආර්ථික නියෝජ්‍ය අමාත්‍ය එරංග වීරරත්න යන මහත්වරුන් එක්ව සිටියහ.
A ceremony marking the 40th anniversary of the Sri Lanka Bureau of Foreign Employment took place at Temple Trees on 15 November with the participation of Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya.
During today’s commemorative event, several new services and welfare initiatives were introduced for the migrant community, including a dedicated mobile application, the digitalization programme of the SLBFE, upgraded 24/7 call centre services, enhanced insurance and compensation schemes, and expanded housing loan facilities.
The Hon. Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Employment and Tourism, Vijitha Herath, Hon. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and Foreign Employment, Arun Hemachandra, Hon. Deputy Minister of Tourism, Ruwan Chaminda Ranasinghe, and Hon. Deputy Minister of Digital Economy, Eranga Weeraratne, were present at this event.
